India's partner-in-action for four years, they had an almost mother-daughter relationship. It irks India that people shrug off her death because she wasn't really human (the humanity of artificial intelligence is still a hot topic). Because the "Katherine" model was discontinued, there is no hope of replacing her. It hit India hard to lose a close friend, but life must go on. Still, something in India changed when she had to kill Katherine for the sake of a mission. |
